<em><img src="http://www.malcolminthemiddle.co.uk/images/hal.jpg" align="left" height="227" hspace="5" vspace="5" width="185" />New movie short with Bryan Cranston?</em> We're not sure as there is very little information on this, the only sources being <a href="http://www.industrygigs.com/index.php?post_id=691" title="Source" target="_blank">industrygigs.com</a> and 2 <a href="http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cwg/403751019.html" title="Source" target="_blank">Craig's</a> <a href="http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cwg/403751909.html" title="Source" target="_blank">Lists</a> postings. They are seeking a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaffer_%28motion_picture_industry%29" title="Source" target="_blank"><em>Gaffer</em></a><em>/Set Dresser </em>for a film called <em>The <strike>Hollywwod</strike> Hollywood Quad.</em>

The misspelling of Hollywood gives it less credibility but <em><a href="http://www.jimtroesh.net/" title="Official Site" target="_blank"> Jim Troesh</a> </em>is know as the <em>Hollywood Quad </em>and has a successful podcast of the same name, so a film based on him looks likely. He has also worked with Cranston in the past. We will keep you updated with any more news.

September <a href="http://www.malcolminthemiddle.co.uk/2007/09/16/new-movie-short-with-bryan-cranston/" title="We Got It Right!">last year we posted</a> about a couple of Craig's List item about asking for some technical help with a new project with Bryan Cranston called the <em>The Hollywood Quad</em> (which they managed to spell Hollywwod). <em><a href="http://www.jimtroesh.net/" title="Official Site" target="_blank"> Jim Troesh</a> </em>is know as the <em>Hollywood Quad </em>and has a successful podcast of the same name so we had a feeling it might actually be something. However we had no other information to go on.

We got it wrong it isn't a film, its a TV Comedy pilot, in which <em><a href="http://www.jimtroesh.net/" title="Official Site" target="_blank">Jim Troesh</a></em> (a Quadriplegic) is the star but Bryan a friend of Jims guest stars in the pilot. Watch the interview above and you can see the great banter the two have.

A fast-moving, funny look into quadriplegic actor/writer Jim Troesh's career, his writing habits, and his sex life.

I dont quite understand what they are promoting if it isnt already made and going to be aired any time soon? Or are they still trying to get help in getting it made? Im confused

I think the video is just for Jim's podcast. No idea really tho.

Bryan Cranston 'Hollywood Quad' TV Pilot Update

We broke the news last September that Bryan was to be envolved in The Hollywood Quad TV pilot. Jim Troesh (a Quadriplegic) is the star but Bryan a friend of Jims guest stars in the pilot. In January we posted a chat between Jim and Bryan about the project.

Since then the pilot has aired at some small venues and is being shopped around networks.

I hired a lot of my improv friends and Bryan Cranston who plays Malcolm's dad on 'Malcolm in the Middle.' Bless his heart; Brian gave me a full day.
