Frankie Muniz back to acting?

Hi everyone,

I don't know if you guys follow the twitter/facebook accounts of Frankie Muniz, in his latest messages he talks about a new movie he's acting in. Do you know more about this? I've looked for some more info but couldn't find anything.

Here are some of his messages:
"In L.A. Start filming a new movie on Monday. Weird to be back. Excited."
"First day of filming tomorrow. I sure hope I remember how to do this!"
"Great first day back on set! Cast and crew are all good people! Tomorrow = Day off!"

Plus a guy told him the Atlantic Championship he was racing in has been cancelled for this year, to which he answered: "Who said I was racing in Atlantics this year? I haven't talked about racing in 10 months". And I couldn't find any info on Frankie's racing plans for 2010 either.

So, is Frankie back from racing to acting?

It does appear that Frankie is back to acting. Unfortunately, details and reliable information is scarce.

TJ summed up on Twitter about as much as we know for sure:

Thanks for the information, I didn't know the name of the movie (I'm following TJ's twitter but I must have missed that post!).

Don't know if this site is reliable, but they give a few names for the cast and crew.

Thanks for that link -- it does seem that there is enough evidence that he's doing something acting-related.

I'm still being quite tenative about 'confirming' anything, I hope that post makes it clear, but it does look pretty likely that the story you linked to is true.
