Fred Tallaksen worked as regular choreographer for MITM on 17 episodes, devising all the memorable scenes with Hal rollerskating, Reese cheerleading, Ida's and Lois' Slavic dance, Hal on The Gentlemen Callers and the Dance Dance Revolution machine (for which he won an American Choreography Award), 'Dewey's Opera' and the 'Bomb Shelter' dance class with Malcolm, for both of which he got Emmy nominations.
I think these were one of the high points of the shows, superbly executed and very funny!
Tallaksen also choreographed for Madonna on a music video and her stage show, and also for videos by James Blunt, Weezer, Juanes, Enrique Iglesias and Kelis.
